Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 19 2016 7:24PM Food Security Act across country by March end: PaswanGuwahati, Feb 19 (UNI) Union Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs Ram Vilas Paswan today said the National Food Security Act (NFSA) will be implemented by the end of March. “ When I took over only 11 states had implemented NFSA, now the figureis 28. All states will implement the Act by end of March,” he said,addressing a press conference. The Minister said in Assam 2.52 crore people would be benefited with subsidised food grains, under which the beneficiaries are provided with rice at Rs three per kg and wheat at Rs two per kg.
