Fog alert issued in MP

Bhopal, Dec 8 (UNI) The mercury is dipping noticeably every evening in Madhya Pradesh owing to incoming northern winds even as an ‘isolated fog’ warning was sounded in Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Gwalior, Datia, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Rewa and Satna districts.
“Compared to Saturday, minimum temperatures are lower at numerous places. From late Wednesday, open areas may become colder owing to a western disturbance though the drop might not be significant until December 15 as upper air cyclonic circulation has formed over south-western Rajasthan,” senior meteorologist PK Saha said here.

Pachmarhi was the state’s coldest at 7.2 degrees Celsius with corresponding figures being Betul 7.7; Raisen 9; Khargone 9.6; Gwalior and Umaria 10 each; Dhar 10.8; Chhindwara and Tikamgarh 11 each; Shajapur 11.2; Sheopur, Rewa and Sagar 11.4 each; Jabalpur 11.9 and Bhopal 12.4.
