New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) The newly appointed Delhi Congress chief Shiela Dikshit on Wednesday said her focus will be to strengthen the party's position in Delhi.
Talking to mediapersons, after taking over as Delhi Congress chief Ms Dikshit said there were no talks with the Aam Aadmi party for an allaince in Delhi
'There is nothing on alliance with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) yet,'Mrs Dikshit said.
'We will have to take the Congress to a position where no one else rules in Delhi. We have to prove it to Congress president that we will win Lok Sabha in Delhi,' she said.
'I will be at your service 24 hrs and we will reconstitute our Congress,' she added.
Mr Maken had resigned as Chief of party's Delhi unit, citing health reasons.
