Flight fares hike: KPF to organize protest marches to 4 Intl Airports in Kerala on Aug 26 : Viswam

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 20 (UNI) In view of skyrocketing of flight fares by the Airline Companies ahead of Onam holidays in the Kerala-Gulf Sector, Kerala Pravasi Federation (KPF) will organize protest marches to four International Airports in the state on August 26 to seek the intervention of Centre in this regard.
KPF State President and CPI Rajya Sabha Member Binoy Viswam said here on Tuesday that the flight fares have been hiked by 500 percent by Airline Companies and looting Non-Resident Keralites during vacation citing their best time.
Hence, the Centre should intervene immediately to stop this unethical practice, he added.
