Flames engulfs three-storeyed building in HP

Shimla, Sep 12 (UNI) A major fire broke out in a building in Raivag village, some 35km from Shimla, under Sunni Tehsil of this district late Wednesday night, reducing the building to ashes.
Fire caused estimated a loss of Rs 20 lakh. No casualty was reported in the incident.
Police sources confirmed that the fire broke out due to electric short circuit in the three-storeyed building.
A fire tender was pressed into the service and doused the inferno.
Rescue team comprising of local people, fire brigade jawans and police personnel brought the fire under control after fighting for hours.
Tehsildar Sunni visited the spot and handed over amount of Rs 20,000 to victim as immediate relief.
The further probe was being carried out by the police.
