Five teachers suspended, action initiated against 3 others in UP

Kushinagar, Dec 14 (UNI) Five teachers were suspended while answers were sought from three others for dereliction of duty in this Uttar Pradesh district, sources said on Saturday.
Sources here said that the Basic Shiksha Adhikari had inspected several schools, some days back. During the inspection, it was found that some teachers were not fulfilling their responsibilities while the MDM scheme was also not being properly implemented.
Taking the matter seriously, Pramendra Kumar Giri, In-charge Principal of Primary School, Harijan Basti Tola, Akbarpur, Harisahai Tiwari, Principal of Primary School, Lakshmipur Bagga Tola, Ummul Fatmi, Assistant Teacher at Primary School, Mir Bihar, Nalini Gupta, Principal at Primary School, Naugava and Sabir, In-charge Principal at Primary School, Pipra Khurd have been suspended.
