Five-member gang held for human trafficking

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (UNI) The city police have arrested a five-member gang which indulged in cheating, illegal human smuggling, trafficking and sexual exploitation under guise of providing job visas to foreign counties.
Police seized net cash Rs 1.6 lakhs, visa documents and five mobile phones from their possession.
On credible information, the sleuths of Special Operation Team (SOT), Malkajgiri Zone apprehended Uppe Trimurthulu (32) of Godi village, East Godavari district, Madiki Tathaji (26) of Kopprupentakaluva of West Godavari district, Pothula Dasu (30) of Jeedimetla and native of East Godavari, Goganamanda Rama Rao (40) of Rayappa Nagar, West Godavari and Sala Murali (37) of Pet Sangam, Kamareddy district. Five others hailing from Amalapuram presently working as manpower agencies in Dubai were absconding, police said.
