Five innovative farmers from Gadchiroli selected for intl study tour

Gadchiroli, Nov 10 (UNI) Five progressive farmers from Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district have been selected by the state Agriculture Department for an international study tour aimed at learning advanced and modern farming techniques, sources said.
The tour, organised under the state’s initiative to promote innovation in agriculture, will provide participants with exposure to modern irrigation systems, greenhouse cultivation, organic farming, value addition to produce and the use of advanced agri-technologies.
The study visits will take place in various countries, including nations in Europe, as well as Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
