Five gamblers arrested on Srinagar outskirts

Srinagar, May 23 (UNI) Five gamblers were arrested and stake money worth Rs 59000 was recovered by police in Nowgam area of the city outskirts on Thursday, a police spokesman said.
He said acting on a tip-off a police party headed by Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Nowgam raided a gambling site at Dangerpora and arrested five gamblers.
He said the gamblers were identified as Fayaz Ahmad Ganie, Bilal Ahmad Illahi, Nasir Ahmad Thakur, Manzoor Ahmad Dar and Shabir Ahmad Dar.
