Five drowned in two incidents in AP

Vijayawada, Nov 25 (UNI) Five people, including a woman and her two daughters, were drowned in two separate incidents in Krishna and Praksham districts on Sunday.
Police said that the deceased woman Prameswari (45) along with her two daughters Durga (8) and Meena (4) went to a water pit for washing cloths at Paritala village in Kanchakacharla mandal in Krishna district. The two girls fell in to the water pit accidentally and the women tried to rescue her daughters but she too drowned. The bodies were fished out from the water pit. Nandigama rural CI Satish visited the scene and registered a case.
In yet another incident, two students drowned in the sea at Ramapuram beach in Vetapalem mandal in Prakasham district. Police said that a group of students of Bharathi College in Chirala, went to the beach for holiday trip. The deceased students G Bhargav (17) and K Ganesh (17) ventured into the sea for swim and washed away.
