Fishermen turns guardian angels for flood victims

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 18 (UNI) Fishermen has turned guardian angels for hundreds of flood victims who were stranded in isolated buildings for several days in Kerala.
Fishermen from the coastal villages of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts saved hundreds of lives from the flood affected areas, mainly at Chengannur and nearby places, in Pathanamthitta district.
The adventurous life of fishermen , spending several days in the sea amidst rough conditions, enabled them to overcome high water current experienced in flood affected areas.
