Udaipur, Dec 14(UNI) Tripura can take huge strides towards economic self-sufficiency through pisciculture and allied business, feel the fish producers gathered at State Level Fish Festival which is currently underway.
Fish business is still profitable, says Biswajit Majumder, a successful fish farmer participating in the fest. Majumdar has already sold his produce worth Rs 22,050 and today is only the first day of the festival.
"I have made maximum profit today as there are no middlemen here," he said standing in front of his stall at Hapaniya International Fair Ground.
