Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 23 2016 10:01PM First time Kannur gets four Ministers, including CMKannur, May 23 (UNI) When the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front came into power with a thumping majority, the red bastion district had contributed 8 MLAs for this, including the designated Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by a huge margin out of the total 11 constituencies. Kannur has became the largest number of ministers from a district in this ministry. Meanwhile, the CPI(M) State unit secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and DYFI State president A N Shamseer, who was elected as debut MLA from Thalassery constituency are also from this district. As a reciprocate from the LDF, four ministers, including Chief Minister, Industries, Health and Devaswom ministers has been selected from this district. The CPI(M) Polit bureau member Pinarayi Vijayan, who is designated as the Chief Minister , while CPI(M) central Committee members E P Jayarajan and another Central Committee member and AIDWA state secretary K K Shailaja has likely probably awarded the port folios of Industries and Health Minister respectively.
