Patna, Apr 03 (UNI) First report of two Corona patients were found negative after treatment while the total number of Corona positive cases have reached 29 so far Bihar.
Superintendent of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital (JLNMCH) Ram Charitra Mandal said that first Corona patient in Bihar Mohammad Saif Ali, native of Chauramba in Munger district, had died on March 21.
After his death, a woman and her son, neighbour of Mohammad Saif was also found positive and both were admitted to JLNMCH. After one week of treatment, the first report of both the patients was found negative, he added. Both would be discharged from Hospital if their second reports were also found to be negative, he further added.
A woman, the native of Digha police station area in Patna, was released after treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), Patna while a youth, native of Patna city locality and another youth, a native of Phulwarishrif locality were also released earlier from Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) after treatment.
As per reports received late last evening, two women of a family from Gaya, two from Gopalganj and one from Saran were found to be Corona positive cases. With these new cases, the total number of Corona patients has increased to 29 in Bihar.
Two women of a family were found positive in Gaya as both of them had come into contact with youth. The youth was a private hospital staff in Munger where first Corona positive case of Bihar Mohammad Saif Ali was admitted. One woman is a wife and another is the mother of youth, a native of Paharpur locality in Gaya district.
Similarly, two Corona positive cases in Gopalganj had returned from Saudi Arabia while the patient of Saran district had returned from Britain.
