First-ever initiative for women seafarers launched in India

Mumbai, Nov 4 (UNI) The International Women Seafarers Foundation (IWSF) Trust has been launched here by the Indian women seafarers with an aim to assist shipping companies to increase the strength of women in
this industry.
The Director General of Shipping was the chief guest. Dr Sujata Tolani (owner of Tolani Shipping Ltd), Captain Ashok Mohapatra (director of Safety Council, IMO) and Pradeep Rawat (chairman, National Shipping Board) graced the function on Friday as the guest of honour.
