Dhaka, Jul 18 (UNI) In a first ever movement of its kind, an Indian cargo ship carrying stone aggregates from Bhutan for Bangladesh, through the Indo-Bangladesh Protocol route, was received at Narayanganj here on Thursday, by High Commissioner of India Riva Ganguly Das, Ambassador of Bhutan Sonam T Rabgye, along with Vice Chairman of Basundhara Group, Safwan Sobhan.
An inaugural ceremony was held at Narayanganj, here on Thursday, to mark the event.
The ship, MV AAI of Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), was digitally flagged off by Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Shipping, on July 12.
