Fire causes massive loss of property in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, May 19(UNI) Himachal Pradesh is witnessing a dry spell and several fire incidents during the last three days causing massive loss of property.
Major fire broke out at Industrial area Shoghi near Kavarachoki in the outskirts of Shimla town on Sunday. A devastating fire broke out in Bhadech Panchayat, adjacent to Junga Tehsil Headquarters, on Saturday night wreaking havoc on nearly five hundred apple plants and other property.
This disaster, locally termed the Bhishma fire, severely damaged apple orchard, a cow shed, a residential house, and farmers' hay sheds.
