FIR lodged against AAP MLA, supporters on assault charges

New Delhi, Oct 26 (UNI) Delhi Police today registered a case against Aam Aadmi Party legislator Amanatullah Khan and his supporters for assaulting a person, sources said.
In the FIR, the complainant alleged that he was attacked by the AAP MLA and his supporters on the intervening night of October 16 and October 17.
The police have registered a case against AAP MLA under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. Earlier, Khan was arrested in a a sexual harassment case filed against him by his sister-in-law and is currently out on bail.
