Finland beverage co. aims to raise Rs 9.7 cr; sets its sight on expansion

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Finland beverage company Veen has recently announced to expand their business in India and started their first round of crowdfunding on March 12, 2019 aimed at raising Rs 9.7 crore.
According to a statement, VEEN is offering equity of 6.47 per cent to 15.08 per cent through somewhat of a mini IPO.
The crowdfunding round is open to investors around the globe until April 02, 2019.
"With the growing demand for 100 per cent natural food and beverage products in environmentally responsible packaging, the company has seen unprecedented growth both internationally and in India.
"The business has been valued at Rs 52.5 crore and is expected to achieve an estimated revenue of Rs 26 crore in this year," said Veen Managing Director Aman Gupta.
"Having said that we are confronted with an exponential growth opportunity in the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East and in order to accelerate this growth, we are looking to attract additional investment from investors looking to benefit from the global growth of the brand,” he added.
"The company is offering its shares at a minimum investment of 50 shares at a share price of €8.56 per share which is €428 (Rs 35000) in order to make the ticket size affordable for smaller investors (individuals) also. The platform is https://www.invesdor.com/en," the statement added.
