Chennai, Feb 14 (UN) Announcing World Rapid Chess Champion Viswananathan Anand as its Brand Ambassador, Fincare Small Finance Bank was eyeing to have 500 bank outlets and 60 full service branches across India by the end of March this year.
Talking to reporters here after launching its Digital Savings Account 101, targetted at the digitally savvy millennial segment in metro and urban markets, Findcare SFB MD and CEO Rajeev Yadav said Tamil Nadu was one of the big market as it has contributed 30 per cent of bank's total business of Rs 1800 crore.
'There is a huge degree of credit culture in the state. It is a developed state and gives opportunities to offer more credit', he added.
Stating that the bank outlets would be increased from the present 270 to 500, he said about 100 outlets would be in Tamil Nadu.
He said the bank would be increasing its full service branches from the present 27 to 60 across the country of which about ten to 12 would be in Tamil Nadu.
Mr Rajeev also said the bank was eyeing to have one million customers in the next five years.
Earlier, Anand unveiled 101 in the presence of Fincare SB Chairman Pramod Kabra and Mr Rajeev Yadav.
The 101 product allows customers to open a savings account online in less than five minutes using only the Aadhaar and PAN.
'With this Fincare is empowering customers to bank when they want, where they want', Mr Rajeev Yadav said customers have the flexibility to choose between the zero balance account and the priority account with a minimum balance of Rs 25,000.
He said the zero balance account offers convenient features such as bill payment, fund transfer and other banking services on mobile without any minimum balance requirements.
The priority account allows customers to enjoy unlimited free transactions and exciting offers from brands such as Zefo, Meru, MedPlus, Tata Croma, BookMyShow among others.
Customers could also earn up to seven per cent interest rate on their savings balance and also open fixed deposits online and earn up to nine per cent interest per annum, amongst the highest in the industry.
