Kolkata, Sep 15 (UNI) With Durga Pujo just around the corner, the film makers of Bengali film industry have already geared up to make their presence felt with their respective films during this festive season.
With so many films releasing on September 22, the audiences will be spoilt for choices during this upcoming festive season.
Directed by Anindya Chatterjee and produced by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, 'Projapoti Biskut' is a film revolving around an ordinary Bengali couple longing for a child.
Projapoti in Bengali symbolizes love, marriage and togetherness and 'biskut' has the crispness, so these combine the story.
The film, which has a bunch of youngsters, will show how to keep love alive after marriage.
It's contemporary storytelling, realistic execution, and music is the film's USP.
The courtship period is generally covered by romance, but the film shows what happens post wedding.
The movie revolves around Antor and Shaon played by debutant Aditya and Ishaa Saha, a married couple who is trying to cope with their wishes and their family and relative's expectations.
The things went craze when Antor's friends put an idol of Lord Kartik on their footstep! What happens next is the story all about.
Renowned director Srijit Mukherji’s film 'Yeti Obhijaan' is an adventure thriller film based on the popular author Sunil Gangopadhyay's Kakababu series Pahar Churoi Atonko is also eyeing a worldwide release on September 22.
Produced by Shrikant Mohta, Mahendra Soni and Abdul Aziz under the banner of SVF Entertainment and Jaaz Multimedia, the film features Prosenjit Chatterjee as Kakababu and Aryann Bhowmik as Santu in lead role.
