FIFA U-17 WC: India lose to Ghana 0-4; crash out of tournament

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) Hosts India lost 0-4 to Ghana in their third and final match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup to crash out of the tournament on Thursday. With today's win Ghana have entered the knockout stage are on top in Group A on goal difference while Colombia are second and US at third. For Ghana it was skipper Eric Ayiah who scored two goals in 43rd and 52nd minute while Danso's goal came in 86th minute and Toku's 87th minute. India's defence was good before the first half, but later on lost the momentum in the game as Ghana dominated the game after the first half. Earlier, India playing their first ever FIFA WC lost their opening match to US 0-3, but in the second match they put a formidable fight against the Colombia but lost 1-2.
