FICCI Ladies Orgn comes face to face with Mumbai police on women safety day

Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) Mumbai Chapter held an interactive session to resolve queries and doubts on women’s safety at work and in the digital space.
The workshop was attended by Dr Rashmi Karandikar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Port Zone, Mumbai. This event was sponsored by Vodafone Sakhi –a unique safety service for women
The key speakers were greeted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) FLO Chairperson Anuradha Bhatia.
Key speakers included cybercrime branch Police Inspector Sharmila Sahasrabuddhe, Assistant Police Inspector Surekha Dige from Crime against Women, cyber crime branch and Ms Shama Sayyad, PSI Mumbai Police.
They highlighted the need to spread the awareness for cybercrime and different sections or articles on laws for women’s safety at work.

The event was primarily focused on increasing cognizance against cyber theft, cyberstalking, fake news, Web Hijacking among others. This programme also showcased on how the Mumbai police’s Twitter handle work for road safety and cybersecurity 24 by 7, according to a statement here.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Bhatia said, ''We at FICCI FLO Mumbai were honoured to conduct face to face interaction with the Mumbai police. It is very relevant to bring out key issues related to women's safety and how we can stay vigilant to prevent them on a daily basis''.

PHD Chamber identifies 10 key enablers for India to become Viksit Bharat by 2047

New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) Industry body PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry has identified 10 key enablers including ease of doing business, reducing cost of doing business such as cost of capital, power, logistics, land among others, that would lead the Indian economy to “Viksit Bharat by 2047”
Releasing a blueprint for “Viksit Bharat by 2047”, the PHDCCI said the Indian economy is displaying robust growth post Covid pandemic despite continued global headwinds. India’s economy will become USD 34.7 trillion by 2047 with per capita income of USD 21000.
