Female leopard caught in Nashik

Nashik, Feb 18 (UNI) A female leopard which had strayed into Lalpadi Shivar village in Nifad taluka of the district, was trapped by the Forest department on Tuesday.
According to sources, the people of Lalpadi village were living in terror ever since they spotted the three-year-old leopard moving in the fields.
Being worried about their lives and those of the cattle due to frequent visits by leopard, the villagers had complained to the Forest department and had demanded to capture the leopard.
