Father and Mother arrested for murdering son in Palamu

Daltonganj, Feb 8 (UNI) Police has arrested a couple for murdering their son from Panchpokhari village under Mohammedganj Police Station area of the Palamu district.
Hussainabad SDPO Manoj Mahto said that the arrested have been identified as Bacchu Ram and his Lalti Devi. He said that the body of the deceased Vijay Ram (28) was recovered yesterday from the North Koyel Canal. He said that while the police was conducting investigation the wife of the deceased reached the police station and spilled the beans.
She said that her father and mother-in-law had killed her husband and locked her inside a room to prevent their crime. The SDPO said that the couple confessed that they killed their son as he use to often beat them up as he wanted the retirement funds which Nacchu Ram had got after retiring from the CCL. Fed up with daily man-handling the couple killed their son and tied his hands and legs and threw his body into the canal.
