Farooq bats to bring Kashmir pandits back with dignity

Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) Reiterating that “pandit community” is an essential element of Kashmiriyat, former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said he will rejuvenate efforts to bring them back with dignity.
Dr Abdullah, while addressing a delegation of pandits who met him here said, “the need of the hour is to defeat the vested interests that are hell being to fashion the wedge between two communities—Pandits and Muslims”.
The National Conference (NC) president Dr Abdullah said “Kashmiri pandits are part and parcel of our cultural milieu, we as a society are incomplete without our pandit brethren. The community has traditionally been known for its penchant for learning, writing and other upright endowments.
