Farmers' unions critical of Punjab govt's anti-employee & anti-farmers policies

Moga, Dec 8 (UNI) Various farmers unions were strongly critical of Punjab government's anti-employees and anti-farmers policies and said that there was an undeclared emergency in the state to suppress the democratic rights of the people.
According to BKU Ekta general secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokary, the meeting of various farmers unions held on Saturday was strongly critical of the state government's filing a case against the teachers and farmers' leaders by the Patiala police and also filing of a challan in a Patiala court, allegedly accusing the teachers and farmer leaders of disobedience to orders duly promulgated by the administration.
The farmers unions were ready to face the challenge of the government and declared their full support to the teachers.
