Farmers getting prosperous under Modi : Yogi

Shahjahanpur, Jul 21 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on Saturday claimed that due to many development schemes and projects initiated by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at Center and state lives of poor, farmers and unprivileged were getting better.

Addressing the gathering here at Railway ground in Roja area, CM Yogi said that development of farmers was never focused after independence but Modi government was committed for development of farmers and villages. He said that many development schemes and projects were initiated in rural areas for the development of farmers.

CM Yogi said that recently increased minimum support price for many corps will increase the income of farmers while Rs 2 lakh crores were sent to accounts of 2,33 lakh farmers. Pending dues of 33,000 sugarcane farmers were distributed recently, he added.

He said that till 2022 every poor will have his own house and with the support of public BJP will form the government in 2019. Stressing that BJP government was committed for the development of farmers, youth CM Yogi said that better health, education and roads will be provided in rural areas.
