Farmers detained for PM's election rallies, later released

Phagwara, May 24 (UNI) dozens of farmers were on Friday detained by the police in Punjab's Kapurthala and Jalandhar districts in view of the election rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The farmers, including some leaders' of peasant bodies, were detained at heir houses early in the morning.
The election rallies of the Prime Minister were in Dina Nagar of Kapurthala and Jalandhar.
