Farhan Akhtar to release his 1st Hindi single as independent singer

New Delhi, June 27 (UNI) The multitalented star Farhan Akhtar is all set to treat his fans with his first ever single, which will be releasing this August.

After writing songs for years, crooning for live performances at his concerts and recording a few others for the movies, Farhan Akhtar is taking his music one step up.

The man who has successfully worn many hats as actor, scriptwriter, producer, director, playback singer and TV host is now gearing up to release his first Hindi single as an independent singer and songwriter.

Farhan has not just penned the song but has also recorded it. He is collaborating with composer-instrumentalist-lyricist Rochak Kohli who is producing the single. They are also shooting a music video for it which will release in August.

The actor who has been travelling with his own band, has a number of chartbusters to his credit, including “Rock On”, “Socha Hai”, “Tum Ho To”, “Pichle Saat”, “Senorita”and “Dil Dhadakne Do”.

Earlier this year, Farhan sung his first Telugu song, “I Don’t Know” for Mahesh Babu’s political-thriller, Bharat Ane Nenu. The fast-paced catchy number introduced Mahesh Babu’s character.

Two days ago, the actor-filmmaker posted a picture of a bicycle with the intriguing caption “solo bike tour in beautiful Iceland”, gushing over the “fun times” and reminding himself to dress warmer the next time.

Having learnt how he has pedalled his way to fitness and super model body, and knowing that he often goes off on trips alone to explore new countries, one thought that the “mystery shoot” at the edge of the world, going by an Instagram post, was just another break from the city.

Farhan is curently in Iceland, being blown away by the icy winds from the North and the natural beauty around him, for the music video that they are shooting there.
