Fake FIR registered against innocent tribals in Ramgarh: Dumka MP

Dumka, Jul 11 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Dumka MP Sunil Soren today alleged that
police has registered fake FIR against innocent people in the Ramgarh Police Station
where people were accused of beating couple of men who were found carrying
prohibited meat.
He said in the case FIR has been registered against few named and 50-60 unnamed
people who are associated with the party, ABVP and Bajrang Dal.
Mr Soren said despite a ban on the selling of prohibited meat in the state one can
easily find the same in the area.
He said that under pressure the police has registered FIR against innocent people in
the state and claimed that it was a conspiracy against the tribals.
The MP claimed that some anti social groups are encouraging the tribals to sell the
prohibited meat and also encouraging them to hold demonstrations and dharna.
He demanded that a probe should be ordered as to how without permission a
procession was taken out in the block headquarters.
