Fadnavis addresses 65 rallies on last day of election campaigning

Aurangabad, Oct 19 (UNI) On the last day of campaigning for forthcoming Assembly elections, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday addressed 65 election rallies across the state.

Prior to the announcement of Assembly elections, Mr Fadnavis had led a 'Mahajanadesh Yatra' during which he headed about 160 meetings in 144 constituencies.

During the entire campaign, Mr Fadanvis emphasised on number of promises delivered by the Hindu nationalist party on time, especially in comparison to the 15 year rule of Congress-NCP government.

"BJP government has done very well in agriculture, water, education, health, housing, employment and investment sector," the Chief Minister added.

So far, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed nine meetings in the state with Union Home Minister and national president of BJP Amit Shah heading 10 rallies. On the other hand, BJP's working president J P Nadda has addressed seven campaigns, Defence minister Rajnath Singh three, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari 35, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 10 meetings.
