New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) On the face of severe electoral defeat in Hindi heartland states, the BJP leadership has decided to gear up all its wings and morchas for a series of meetings, workshops and rallies in all key political hubs across the country.
As part of that proposed marathon exercise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party's best known vote catcher, will address a rally of party's Kisan Morcha in Uttar Pradesh on February 21-22.
In the recent elections, the saffron party had to face the wrath of the farmers community even as it seemed to have done in some key hubs wherein farmers' stirs were at peak.
The final decision about the city, venue and the exact date of the Kisan Morcha rally will be taken at a later stage, BJP general secretary Bhupender Yadav told reporters after a meeting of party's national office bearers here on Thursday.
A series of other meetings are also on cards and these include party's national executive meeting in the capital on January 11 and 12. There will be a workshop of the BJP Yuva Morcha in Delhi on December 15-16.
In order to galvanize party cadres in Gujarat, Mr Modi's native state, the saffron party will hold a two-
convention of party's Mahila Morcha in Ahmedabad on December 21-22. Prime Minister will address the convention.
"As part of preparation for 2019, seven wings of the BJP are active to take party's agenda to different sections of the society," Mr Yadav said and maintained that no analysis of poll debacle was made in Thursday's meeting of national office bearers.
BJP will also organise a key two-day conclave of BJP's Scheduled Castes Morcha on January 19-20 in Nagpur - which would be addressed among others by BJP President Amit Shah, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Thawarchand Gehlot.
The BJP Minority Cell is also slated to hold a similar two-day national convention in New Delhi on January 31-February 1.
In order to woo tribal voters and pass on a right message to the tribals, who have lately shown growing inclination to be with the saffron party especially in northeastern states, on February 2-3, a national convention of the Scheduled Tribes wing of the party would be held in Bhubaneswar.
This will be followed by Other Backward Classes (OBCs) Morcha meet to be organised in Patna on February 15-16, Mr Yadav said.
