Eye on BSP voters, Modi govt go for grand event on Buddha Poornima

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Making a departure from the past, Modi government is sponsoring a grand event on Buddha Poornima.
This is for the first time that central government has sponsored such an event on the occasion of Buddha Poornima.
According to the sources this is being done to woo the large number of voters of Uttar Pradesh in coming assembly election in the state who traditionally vote for Bahujan Samaj Party. Through the event government will try to send a signal that this government belongs to them also who believes in Buddhism.
