Extremism a product of regimes, not religion: Khairy Beshara

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 8 (UNI) Egyptian film maker Khairy Beshara has opened up to the audience through the segment `on Conversation with’, moderated by Oscar winner Resul Pookutty, at the IFFK here on Sunday.
He insisted everyone to wipe out the bonds of religion and caste and restore the faith in humanity. He believes that being a minority should not resist anyone from contributing to nation’s growth. Beshara advised young film makers to do film not for fame and money, but for society.
The elements one need to convey to the society should be shown thrown the film rather than to make commercial victory.
Khairy Beshara doesn’t hesitate to blend his career and family life as he doesn’t see them separately.
He welcomed the recent change in perspective towards cinema in Arab Countries. He took time to praise Indian film Industry and expressed his confidence in the talented Indian film makers. He also forecast Indian cinema will soon hold a prime position among competent film industries around the world.
