Expelled BJP leader Dayashankar arrested from Buxar in Bihar, taken to UP

Patna, Jul 29 (UNI) Expelled Uttar Pradesh BJP leader Dayashankar Singh, who had gone underground for the last eight days after an FIR was lodged against him for his derogatrory remarks against BSP supremo Mayawati, was today arrested from Chini Mill Mohalla under Town police station area, in a joint operation by the Special Task Force (STF) and local police in Buxar district of Bihar.
Mr Dayashankar, former vice president of Uttar Pradesh BJP, who was expelled from the party for his indecent remark against Ms Mayawati, is a native of Buxar district of Bihar and was taking shelter at the residence of a relative, when arrested by UP STF and local police.
Police Superintendent of Buxar Upendra Kumar Sharma told UNI here that jawans of Special Task Force (STF) from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar Police nabbed Mr Singh from the residence of his relative at Chini Mill Mohalla, where he was taking shelter.
