Kozhikode, May 7 (UNI Twenty seven rare paintings by noted artist and curator Kavitha Balakrishnan would be on display in an exhibition at Lalitkala Academy Art Gallery here from tomorrow. Half of the paintings worth between Rs 3,000 and Rs one lakh, are mural pictures and abstract, madhubani and coffee paintings, said a statement here today. Proceeds from the paintings would be donated to Palliative Care Centre for the benefit of cancer patients, it said adding well known artist and art critic Paul Kallnod would inaugurate the 3-day event.
