Exercise restraint, go after trouble makers, Special DG to security forces

Srinagar, Sep 25 (UNI) Directing security forces to exercise restraint while dealing with the situation even during hostile situation, Special Director General law and order and co-ordination in Jammu and Kashmir S P Vaid however, asked them to go against trouble makers to restore normalcy in the valley.
An official spokesman said here today that Mr Vaid yesterday visited south Kashmir, the most affected since July 9, a day after Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) commander Burhan Wani and two other militants were killed in an encounter in Anantnag. Violence after the death of Burhan left 84 persons, mostly youths, killed and over 9500 injured in security force action.
Underscoring the need for greater synergy among all security agencies Mr Vaid said that the law enforcing agencies have to work together and maintain peace & order in the State, besides safety and security of the people.
