Excited to do glamorous role after 'M S Dhoni-the inside story': Kiara Advani

By Rajesh Ahuja New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) She impressed cinegoers with her role of a girl-next-door in 'M S Dhoni-the inside story', the biopic on the life of former Indian test captain M S Dhoni.
In her new film 'Machine', Bollywood upcoming actress Kiara Advani will be seen in a glamorous avataar.
Kiara says that after essaying a role based on real life, it was exciting to do a glamorous role in a commercial entertainer like 'Machine '.
''I am excited to be in a glamorous avataar after 'M S Dhoni-the inside story ','' the actress told UNI.
Produced by Abbas and Mastan, who have given to the industry several thrillers over the years, from 'Baazigar' to 'Humraaz' to 'Race', 'Machine ' marks the Bollywood debut of Abbas Barmawala's son Mustafa.
For Kiara, who has grown up on Abbas Mastan films, says working in a film by the director duo is a dream come true.
''When I got a call from the office of Abbas Mastan for 'Machine ', I was completely shocked.
I have grown up on their films since childhood.
I had dreamed that one day I would work with them.
However, I had not imagined that it would happen so soon.
In this sense, getting to work in 'Machine ' is a dream come true,'' she said.
Talking about her role in the film, she said, ''I play the role of Sara, who is a die hard romantic.
At the same time she is quite strong.
I really loved my character in the film.
There are so many shades to it.
I feel that Abbas and Mastan present their women quite well'' Kiara says it was not difficult for her to play the character of Sara.
''Sara is in a lot of ways like I am in real life.
So it was not very difficult for me to get into the skin of the character, ''she said.
She said like all earlier films by Abbas Mastan, 'Machine' is an out and out commercial entertainer.
''Machine has all the ingredients that one would expect in an Abbas Mastan film.
Also, 'Machine ' has a different story, something the audience has not seen before,''she said.
Describing Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi and Kajol as her inspirations in the film industry, Kiara said,''all these actresses have made me want to be an actor.
For me, they are iconic Hindi film heroines.
