Ayodhya, Aug 1 (UNI) Former UP CM Kalyan Singh and MP CM Uma Bharati on Saturday announced that they would attend the Bhoomi Pujan programme whereas former Deputy PM Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi may not join them.
Mr Singh announced in Lucknow that he would reach Ayodhya on August 4 to attend the programme.
Mr Singh,one of the accused in the Babri demolition, had said that he was innocent in the demolition of the Babri mosque and there was a political conspiracy to implicate him.
" It is my last wish to live to see the opening of the Ram temple ," he said.
Meanwhile, former MP CM Uma Bharati , also an accused in the Babri demolition, too have tweeted that she will reach Ayodhya on August 4 to attend the function.
However, it was reported thatLal Krishna Advani and Dr Murli Manohar Joshi would not be attending the Bhoomi pujan but there was no such official confirmation in the matter. ]
The invitees list include the BJP and Sangh leaders along with the saints who participated in the Ram temple movement which includes Lal Krishna Advani, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi ,Uma Bharati, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Vinay Katiyar, Dr Ramvilas Vedanti and several others.
The Shree Ramjanambhoomi Tirath Khetra Trust has also invited the family members of several Kar Sevaks who were killed during demolition or in police firing. Kothari brothers were also invite
Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay the foundation and Bhoomi pujan of the Ram temple at around noon on August 5. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with some senior politicians, seers and Trust members would be attending this programme.
Mr Modi, who would be visiting Ramjanambhoomi for the first time, after becoming the PM of the country , will also pray at the Hanumangarhi temple before attending the Bhoomi pujan.
