Ex Pakistan pacers Aaqib, Azhar to join PCB selection panel

Lahore, Oct 11 (UNI) Former speedsters Aaqib Javed and Azhar Ali are likely to join the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) national selection committee, which is slated to announce the team for the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia, Board sources said.
Additionally, former ICC elite umpire Aleem Dar is also anticipated to be appointed to the new committee, the Express tribune reported.
This comes after former captain Mohammad Yousuf quit the panel, prompting the board to expand the selection committee. Asad Shafiq will continue to serve as a selector alongside the head coach, maintaining consistency within the committee.
