Ex-NHIDL GM arrested in DA case

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested former general manager of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDL) PMU-Mokokchung (Nagaland) on charge of alleged possession of disproportionate assets approximately worth Rs 96,68,971.
A case under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code has been registered against accused in regards to the crime, an official press release here Tuesday said.
It was alleged that the accused during the period from April 1, 2015 to April 16, 2021 acquired huge assets, both movable and immovable, amounting to approximately Rs 1,76,05,422 in three separate bank accounts that is Rs 1,13,49,019 (approx) at Arunachal Pradesh, Rs 42,61,392 (approx) at Mokokchung (Nagaland) and Rs 3,27,621 (approx) at New Delhi which were disproportionate to his known sources of income to the tune of Rs 96,68,971 (approx).

Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 1,701 new cases, 33 deaths
