Ex minister Shivraj Patil inaugurates Maharashtra State Inter-University Employees Vice-Chancellor T-20' Cricket Tournament in Nanded

Nanded, Feb 14 (UNI) Former Union minister and and veteran Congress leader Shivraj Patil-Chakurkar on Friday underlined importance of sports in the development of one's life, saying that along with education, physical education is also important.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Maharashtra State Inter University Employees Vice-Chancellor T-20' Cricket Tournament, organised by the Swami Ramanand Teertha Marathwada University (SRTMU), on its sports ground here. The event will conclude on February 20.
Lauding the efforts of the SRTMU in the direction of development, Mr Patil-Chakurkar expressed that the university will become one of the best universities in the country and will excel in every field of progress.
