Ex-K'taka CM predicts potential split in Cong party at National level

Kalaburagi, May 21 (UNI) Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday predicted a potential split within the Congress party at the National level, which could have repercussions in Karnataka.
Speaking to media persons in Kalaburagi, Bommai highlighted intense conflicts and competition within the State unit of the Congress, indicating a struggle for the Chief Minister's seat. He drew parallels with historical instances where party divisions led to abrupt changes in leadership.
"Intense conflicts and fierce competition within the State unit of the Congress are undeniable. There's a clear power struggle, with one faction aggressively vying for the Chief Minister's seat while the incumbent remains resolute.

TD appeal devotees to enter queues along with darshan tickets as per allotted time only

Tirumala, Feb 12 (UNI) : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) on Wednesday appealed to the devotees who have got tokens and tickets for Tirumala Srivari darshan to enter the queues at the specified time.
The devotees are being informed by many a number of times through media, TTD website and social media, the TTD said in a release here.
However, recently some devotees went to the queues before their allotted time and indulged in arguments with the staff to be allowed into the queues, but also spread lies on social media.
