Ex-IB Director Mishra in Nagaland, to hold talks with NNPGs

Kohima Sep 19 (UNI) Former Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) AK Mishra, who is on a visit to Nagaland, is widely expected to hold a series of informal talks with various Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) in the next few days to revive the Naga peace process.
Mishra, who arrived on Saturday at the Police Complex in Chumoukedima has come as the representative of the Central Government and will meet the leaders of various underground factions, who are engaged in negotiations with the Centre.
According to sources, he will meet NSCN (IM) General Secretary Th Muivah and the Working Committee of the seven NNPGs and the meetings, which are not officially admitted so far, is scheduled on September 20 next somewhere in Dimapur.
