EVM transportation from strong room to counting hall to be visible live

Raipur, Dec 8 (UNI) Raipur Collector and District Returning Officer Dr Basavaraju S gave information over counting of votes to be held on December 11, to the candidates and their agents from seven assembly constituencies of Raipur district, at a meeting held at Red Cross Conference hall here on Saturday.
He said that CCTV cameras were being installed at the stretch between Strong Room and Counting Hall. With CCTV cameras, the footage of EVM transportation from strong room to counting hall can be seen on the screen at RO table.
Videography would be carried out on the entire process of carrying EVMs from strong room to counting tables. The meeting was attended by Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers from all seven constituencies of Raipur district. The District Returning Officer also answered to the queries of candidates and agents over counting.
