EU designates 2 senior Hamas military as terrorist

Moscow, Dec 8 (UNI) The European Council announced on Friday adding two senior members of Hamas's military wing, Al Qassam Brigades, to the EU terrorist list, as a part of a response to the movement's attack against Israel on October 7.
"The Council decided to add two individuals to the EU terrorist list. This decision comes as part of European Union’s response to the threat posed by Hamas and its brutal and indiscriminate terrorist attacks in Israel on 7 October 2023. These sanctions are effective as of today," the Council announced in a statement.
The two individuals are Al Qassam Brigades Commander General Mohammed Deif and Deputy Commander Marwan Issa.
