Establish separate CAT Bench at Srinagar: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Jul 14 (UNI) Urging the Centre to establish a separate bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) at summer capital, Srinagar, Jammu an Kashmir Apni Party (AP) on Tuesday said due to lack of this facility here thousands of low paid employees of the valley are bound to be deprived of justice.
Establishing a CAT office in Srinagar will help thousands of employees do get justice who cannot afford to visit and stay in Jammu to pursue adjudication of their service related grievances, AP president and former minister Syed Altaf Bukhari said in a statement here.
Bukhari while appreciating the functioning of CAT bench in winter capital Jammu said the employees of Kashmir division need a separate circuit bench in Srinagar in view of tough terrain and harsh climatic conditions of the region.
