ESIC-Sanathnagar plans for round the clock super specialty treatment: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Dec 8 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishna Reddy said that the care provided at ESIC-Sanathnagar is just not restricted to primary and secondary care but also to tertiary care within the campus and to achieve this ESIC has now equipped with Super-Specialists and has planned for round the clock super specialty treatment to the Insured Persons (IP).

In a statement here on Sunday, Mr Reddy said that this would decrease the burden of patients, running around tie-up hospitals for admission at the time of need. Further to provide such round the clock services it was decided to start DNB courses for all Super-Specialty Departments at ESIC.

He said that the ESIC has Medical College, Medical College Hospital and a ESIC super speciality hospital at Sanathnagar, here. ESIC Medical College was started in 2016 and in the short frame of time the patient care has improved by leaps and bounds. It has been our constant effort to provide in-house medical services to our Insured Persons [Workers] and their families. This could not have been achieved without the capacity building of ESIC Medical College and Hospitals.

ESI Corporation in its 179th Corporation Body meeting chaired by Honourable Minister Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar ji at New Delhi on 05/12/2019 has accorded the approval for DNB COURSES in Super-Specialty Departments like Cardiology, CTVS, Nephrology, Urology, Oncology, Onco-Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Neonatal Surgery etc.
