eShopbox launches new e-commerce software for manufacturers

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) E-retail Solution Provider startup eShopbox has come up with a new e-commerce software which helps the manufacturers to easily check the number of orders, which online shopping sites is selling their maximum products, number of orders served by a particular portal, turnovers per month, returns, average discounts, etc., on various online platforms.
A company started by four young entrepreneurs with an investment of Rs 2-crore, eShopBox saw a revenue of Rs 13-crore in 2014-15. Its top line swelled to Rs 28-crore in 2015-16. Now, eShopBox will be partnering with these small manufacturers and assist them to expand their reach and plan their future strategy.
According to Ankush Karwa, Director, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, eShopBox, the startup, which won E-retail 'Solution Provider of The Year Award' at the Indian Retail Congress 2016, is now focusing on clothing manufacturing hubs such as Ludhiana, Surat and Tirupur to fuel its growth. These places have very good apparel manufacturers but, because they are far from the metros, they have a hard time launching their brands and products.
Mr. Karwa said that being in this business for last two years, they have understood the dynamics of e-commerce segment well, which it is disseminating to its clients to help them increase their market presence in e-retail space.
Talking to UNI, he further added, “It has been observed that fashion brands to garner benefits of huge e-commerce market share, puts in lot of money, energy and time. But due to lack of experience and expertise, they could not harvest potential benefits and at times even lose focus on their core competence of manufacturing & quality, a peril for their business”.
He further added, “Brands undergoes an intense financial labor pain while wrestling share for e-commerce fashion market, we not only lessen this pain but also shorten this long-drawn battle by infusing creative energies with real time marketing intelligence inputs”.
India has an Internet user-base of about 375 million. Despite being the second largest user-base in world, only behind China (650 million, 48 percent of population), the penetration of e-commerce is low compared to markets like United States or France, but is growing at an unprecedented rate, adding around 6-million new entrants every month. With this increasing internet user-base, India's e-commerce market is likely to touch 38-billion dollar mark in 2016, a massive jump over 23 billion dollar in 2015. On the other hand, m-commerce is growing rapidly as a stable and secure supplement to e-commerce industry.
According to Mr. Karwa, this digitisation has transformed the face of businesses across the globe so much so that it has become imperative for entrepreneurs to go digital in order to maintain a competitive edge. However, due to infrastructural challenges, lack of outlook to innovate and other issues, aspiring businesses in India are still struggling to catch up with this trend.
To resolve this issue and give a technological fillip to aspiring fashion apparel brands and manufacturers which still depend on offline selling due to infrastructure and manpower challenges, eShopBox came into being.
He said that eShopBox has association with online marketplaces like Jabong, Myntra, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Limeroad, Paytm, Amazon, Roposo and others and eShopBox is managing more than 100 brands in a time-span of two years and doing more than 45k SKUs a month eShopBox is managing online operations for brands like Duke in its portfolio.
The USP of eshopbox is that they have a insight software and with the help of that a manufacturer can anytime see the no of orders, which shopping website is selling their product more, what are the different segments of clothing, etc. So anyone can see it in their dashboard. UNI ADP SNU 1604
